We provide seismic services for the oil and gas industry with an orientation on passive seismic. We carry out research-oriented projects on already acquired datasets. Our main expertise is in the detection and advanced analysis of seismic event in the vicinity of oil and gas reservoirs from both private and public (e.g. USGS) data.

We specialize in service excellence through the use of Webex meetings and in-person reports and our staff provides expertise in capabilities such as passive seismic monitoring, finite difference modeling, and ray tracing.

We utilize highly accurate location algorithms for absolute and relative locations, detection algorithms for pre-injection seismicity, source mechanism analysis, and stress orientation determination. We use publicly available data (USGS stations) or private data (from local networks installed either by the client or by a third-party provider). Seismik provides secured data storage processing capability and utilizes proprietary software.

We have experience in the analyses of induced and triggered events for both surface and borehole data and routinely use numerical modeling and hybrid methods such as complete 3D modeling of the wave propagation in inhomogeneous media by finite differences, discrete wave numbers, matrix and reflectivity methods, and ray tracing to solve simple to complex problems.
