Petr received his M.Sc. degree at the Informatics and Statistics Department of the Prague's School of Economics, Czech Republic. He started his career in a local IT company in Prague getting his experience in programming, scripting, business intelligence and database systems.
He has started to cooperate closely with Seismik as an external consultant in 2011 and has become employed in Seismik full time in 2016. He is responsible for the IT infrastructure of the company, loves UNIX, SQL databases and vi editor. He tries to pass on his experience to his colleagues during various internal IT workshops. Petr is a leader of real-time monitoring projects in the company as he likes and manages well stress at work. Another branch of company's activities where he can show his skills is an installation of seismic stations (the hands-on experience) and associated data transfer and networking.
