New publication on CO2 monitoring

Seismik is proud to announce a new publication on CO2 monitoring design criteria published with University of Bristol, Texas A&M University, KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) and King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM. Seismic Monitoring for CO2 Sequestration—A New Advanced Strategy was just published at the Geophysical Prospecting online. The article outlines new methodology for designing criteria for microseismic monitoring of long term injections such as CO2 sequestration. It provides alternative view for commonly implemented arbitrary thresholds and we hope this idea may change the not-very-objective practice, let us use the property of our reservoirs to make monitoring criteria!!
