Surface microseismic monitoring
Passive seismic processing includes a variety of services using publicly available or private data.
For a detection of seismic events special algorithms, proven methods of work and proprietary software packages are used. Our in-house developed filtering process improves a signal to noise ratio and it provides another insight into your data. At a local station we can detect all seismic events down to M=0. At a remote station about 250 km away we are able to achieve a catalogue completeness down to M=1.5. The detection may be focused on a general seismicity or seismic events correlating with the master event. A location of events is either absolute or relative and may be used to find out a relationship between seismic events and a human activity. Our sophisticated methods combine an automatic and a manual processing and they include uncertainties quantifications of both relative and absolute locations. We refine locations provided by national surveys or other public seismologic organizations. Our seismic data analysis includes a source mechanism analysis and a stress orientation determination.
Sensitive data are saved in the secured data storage. The tailored web map portal is used for the visualization of the results. It includes many possibilities of presenting the output on the maps and/or in the charts. Our clients can analyse the results on their own, at times that suit them and work with the selected set of results.
